Our new podcast series is online: “TECH.EMOTION – Prima del futuro. Innovazione ed evoluzione: da Edison all’AI”, created in collaboration with TeamSystem and distributed by Corriere della Sera.
After “TECH.EMOTION – Capitali pazienti, imprese audaci”, produced with Banco Desio and Anthilia Capital Partners to explore how f inance and savings can support business growth, we return to examine the great forces driving change.
“TECH.EMOTION – Prima del futuro” is the compelling story of the technological leaps that have transformed the way we live. Every revolution has divided and frightened us, but it has also unlocked new possibilities for people and businesses. And today, it leads us into
the age of AI with a new question: what can this technology do for us? If the future unsettles us, perhaps it’s because we still haven’t understood that, as always, it’s not just about tools, but about humanity in transformation. Or rather, in evolution.
The podcast consists of six episodes, released every Wednesday from October 29 to December 3, available on the Corriere della Sera website and app, as well as on all major podcast platforms.
EPISODE 1 – La rivoluzione elettrica di Edison – October 29, 2025
From a single switch turned on in New York in 1882, a new world was born. Electricity became a universal language; today, AI is its cognitive heir.
EPISODE 2 – La rivoluzione fotografica e la liberazione della creatività – November 5, 2025
When photography seemed to make painting disappear, art exploded into forms never seen before. Likewise, AI does not destroy creativity, it multiplies it.
EPISODE 3 – Il gesuita che portò le macchine a leggere – November 12, 2025
In 1949, Roberto Busa asked computers to read Latin. This gave birth to the Digital Humanities, along with the idea that machines could understand words.
EPISODE 4 – La rivoluzione della simulazione spaziale e l’AI predittiva – November 19, 2025
Armstrong landed on the Moon because he had already done it a thousand times… in simulators. Today, the same philosophy guides predictive AI: testing the future before it arrives.
EPISODE 5 – Il fantasma che guidò il futuro – November 26, 2025
Manhattan, 1925: a car drives down Broadway on its own. It’s not magic – it’s the birth of remote control. Today, that insight lives on in drones, robots, and artificial intelligences.
EPISODE 6 – Il sottomarino perduto e l’algoritmo che sfidò l’oceano – December 3, 2025
A nuclear submarine disappears. A mathematician finds it using an algorithm based on imperfect intuitions. This is the seed of the predictive AI we use every day.
Each episode tells the story of a technological revolution that, before artificial intelligence, divided and transformed the world: from electricity to photography, from the first computers to the conquest of space. Every innovation sparked excitement and fear, resistance and vision – just as we see today with AI.
By revisiting these pivotal moments, “TECH.EMOTION – Prima del futuro”invites us to look at history with a sense of trust. Sometimes, reliving the past can help us embrace the opportunities of the present with awareness.
