A journey through the voices of Emotion Network
On November 27th, 2024, the Tech.Emotion Club’s Christmas Cocktail delivered a unique evening marked by a fast-paced, informal, and dynamic format. The event showcased diverse topics from robotics to bespoke tailoring and inclusion through sports.
The Tech.Emotion Club is our exclusive membership program designed to foster meaningful connections within a unique community.
This event brought together both members of the Tech.Emotion Club and friends of the Emotion Network—passionate individuals from the worlds of entrepreneurship, investment, innovation, and culture. These supporters have actively contributed to our events and projects for over four years, helping us build a strong, collaborative ecosystem.
Mattia Mor, Founder and CEO of Emotion Network, opened the evening by saying: “At the heart of our vision is connecting people, ideas, and skills to address the complexities of our time and create a dynamic environment capable of generating human, economic, and social value.“
Startups and innovation: new opportunities for Italy
Next, we heard from Antonia Verna, Partner at Portolano Cavallo, who discussed legislative and fiscal tools for innovators in Italy: “There are constantly new and increasingly advantageous ways to invest. For example, alternative financing tools like SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) enable investors to immediately support a startup while deferring equity entry to a strategic moment, such as during a funding round.“
Verna also outlined a newly implemented tax exemption for investments in innovative startups, effective as of November 22nd, 2024. She hinted at upcoming legislation under discussion in the Italian Parliament, which could unlock even more opportunities for the sector.
Robotics and empathy: designing trust
Sara Bellini, Chief Product Officer of Alto Robotics, shared her startup’s vision of integrating empathy into technology. Through co-design processes with end users, Alto Robotics creates robots tailored to the everyday needs of manufacturing industries. “Giving robots a relational identity makes them trustworthy tools capable of improving processes without intimidating users,” Bellini explained.
Elegance in Knowledge and the Power of Education
Fabio Attanasio, a men’s fashion expert, entrepreneur, and content creator, recounted his experience leading a masterclass on our TechEmotion.com platform: “Discussing elegance and tailoring was significant because I believe elegance is a mindset to be embraced across all areas of life, not just in clothing.”
Attanasio’s testimony highlighted the potential of TechEmotion.com, which recently partnered with Sole 24 Ore Formazione. Starting in September 2024, this strategic partnership has aimed to provide high-quality educational content, addressing the growing need for corporate upskilling and reskilling.
Fulvio Peppucci, General Manager of Sole 24 Ore Formazione, underscored the shared values behind this collaboration: “No compromises on quality, seamless integration of educational content across platforms, and a joint mission to enable the success and competitiveness of companies and their people.”
Authentic connections: the strength of the Tech.Emotion Club
The evening also spotlighted the value of relationships, with testimonials from Alessandra Losito, General Manager at Pictet Wealth Management, and Emanuele Preve, CFO of Riso Gallo—both Tech.Emotion Club members.
Losito described the club as a unique space for dialogue and collaboration:
“In a world where robotics and AI are transforming how we live, I enthusiastically joined a club that combines high-quality content with an extraordinary network.”
Preve added how the club has profoundly influenced his professional outlook:
“Being part of this ecosystem has expanded my network, sparking ideas and collaborations that might never have happened otherwise.”
Sports as inclusion: lessons from Special Olympics
The event also featured moving stories from Angelo Moratti, President of Special Olympics Italy, Founder and President of Milano Investment Partners Sgr, and Anchor Investor of Emotion Network, alongside Federico Correzzola, an athlete and board member of Special Olympics Italy.
Moratti shared the history of Special Olympics, an organization founded in the 1960s by John F. Kennedy’s sister, now active in 180 countries and supporting 5 million athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Correzzola spoke about how the organization transformed his life:
“In over 15 years, Special Olympics has changed me. It gave me confidence and helped me grow.” He detailed his achievements across various sports, including competing at the World Games in Athens (2011) and Los Angeles (2015).
Emotion Network has chosen to support Special Olympics Italy and invited Tech.Emotion Club members to do the same, empowering more athletes to showcase their talents through sports.
Looking ahead to 2025: Tech.Emotion Summit and new audiovisual productions
The Christmas Cocktail also served as a moment to look ahead and celebrate the future. We announced the fourth edition of the Tech.Emotion Summit, scheduled for May 28–29th, 2025, at the Triennale di Milano. The summit will embody our vision—a place where technology and emotion, innovation and humanism, investment and creativity converge to unlock human potential. It will provide a platform for different ecosystems to connect and generate real impact.
Additionally, we previewed an upcoming audiovisual project debuting on RaiPlay in March 2025. Designed for audiences under 35, the series will explore the concept of talent through the personal and professional journeys of prominent figures in sports, music, cinema, entertainment, literature, education, and content creation.
These stories aim to inspire and offer practical tools to help individuals realize their potential—just like every event and project we’ve built since our foundation.
